February Newsletter
Special Announcement:
Due to a lack of space in January’s newsletter
we weren’t able to thank Joanie, Deanna and other committee members
for their contributions in collecting proxies and signatures’ for
the elections to name new board members. We are grateful for your
help as this is a very important process for us.
Infrastructure Repair:
Jesse has completed the siding on the front
drive and repaired 2 patios. The board is looking into the cost of
replacing the railings on the front balconies. We will start working
on the driveway siding at the building entrance very soon. A notice
will be attached to your door to inform you u when it will begin.
Legal Matters:
Lawsuit:
We are still waiting on the judge to render a
verdict on the lawsuit. We are hoping that this matter is resolved
very soon and will inform all owners of the outcome when it is
settled.
Illegal Activity:
A complaint was forwarded to us about a
possible drug transaction on our property. We are required to inform
the police department of any suspicious activity reported to us
along with name, date and time if known. The penalty is very severe
if you are caught as we are near a School and Park. The board will
seek all legal remedies to remove anyone involved in such activity
from our property whether you are an owner or not. Our resident’s
safety is of the utmost importance to us and we will not tolerate
this type of activity.
Leases:
As mentioned in last month’s newsletter, please
be certain to get your renewals in if they are coming up soon. If
you move a tenant into or fail to renew your tenant without a lease
approved by the board we will remove your tenant. Please understand
that the leasing agreement is for the safety of all residents so
that management knows who is supposed to be in your unit and on our
property. Please be certain all vehicle information is included on
the lease agreement along with a contact number for the tenant.
Pool Committee:
We will need volunteers to help maintain the
pool area this year. If you would like to volunteer for this
position please let us know. The work entails making certain the
skimmer is emptied every day, patio and chairs remain clean and to
check water levels and add if needed. 2- 3 people are needed for
this task.
